| Hero Hearts EquiCenter, Inc. began its mission in 2008 to provide Cochise County with the NARHA Horses for Heroes program. The founders of the organization recognized the needs of the wounded soldiers, veterans, military retirees, and emergency services personnel in the community, and knew equine assisted activities and therapy could address their unique and special requirements. Our center is located just 15 miles from the Fort Huachuca Army Post, and just 10 miles from Sierra Vista, AZ – a community rich with active duty soldiers, veterans, retirees, and emergency services personnel who have honorably served our country. We will begin providing our services to Cochise County in Fall of 2009.
Our all-volunteer board of directors consists of dedicated and diverse members who have strong backgrounds in equine services, entrepreneurship, public and government services, and community involvement: |
